As part of our IB unit on Celebrations and Traditions each Grade 2 student will be using their knowledge to create a new celebration for the class. Don't forget to use your checklist to help you in your planning. This project is due on MONDAY DECEMBER 8, 2008 at 12:55pm.

I'm going to be doing a Video Game day celebration..it's going to be all about video games and getting to stay up all night to play,and everyday for 10 weeks you get new game.
I will be celebrating Friendship Day.This is going to be really fantastic!!! Its going to be about appreciating friends and doing nice things for them, making cards or pictures and singing friendship songs.
i am going to be celebrating money day. Its all about money of course! its a day that we all get free money (who doesnt like that!) and we will play lots of money games like a money scavenger hunt.We would all wear money clothes as well!
My holiday is going to be called Singing and Dancing Day. On this holiday people buy a stage for one dollar (to donate to sick kids hospital) so they can sing/dance on it.
I will be celebrating Hockey Day. On this day we will play different types of Hockey. (Ball, Ice, Road and Floor Hockey)We will have different activites, music and games relating to Hockey. Were everyone can have lots of fun and enjoy everything Hockey.
My holiday is Titanic day. We all go down in a submarine to see the break up of the Titanic and it is on the night of April 14th to 15th which is when the Titanic sunk.
My holiday will be called candy day. On Candy Day you get candy and hot chocolate, you make masks. You give your kids candy cards. Kids get toys and candy again. Skeletons represent Candy Day and are made out of candy. People make up jokes. You make a statue out of candy and then you burn it. You do your favorite thing all day.
My celebration is shopping day. On Shopping Day you will get Mc Donald's for lunch and you get Burger King and also every junk food and you will become rich. You also get lots and lots of toys. You shop only with your friends not your mommy and daddy. At night all the kids end up at Canada's Wonderland and also Marineland.
